I have a Satellite L350D and recently installed 4GB of RAM and a new 250GB SSD. The RAM works wonderfully, but the SSD is not found when I finished installing Ubuntu Linux 17.10.

I get the following error at boot:

Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 082)
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Realteck RTL8101E/8102E PCI-E Ethernet Controller v1.0
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

I have checked the physical installation of the device and it is fine. I changed the SATA Controller to compatibility mode, but that didn't work so I changed it back to AHCI mode. The computer has the InsydeH2O Setup Utility Rev. 3.5, and I was wondering if there was a Firmware upgrade that might fix my problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
