How to use only ONE remote control 43U6763DB TV?

Hi,

We (especially the boss of the household) would like to use only one remote control for TV, YouVeiw box & DVD if possible. We bought the 43U6763DB TV under the impression it is possible.

When we start up the 43U6763DB TV a message does appear on screen stating:-

"The remote control buttons will be directed to the HDMI device as long as you are on this HDMI source"

With our old basic bush 720p led 24" TV the YouVeiw remote was able to turn the tv on & off & also control the tv volume, didn't really need any other options but this was sufficient.

The HDMI cable is the same one as we were using before. We've had it ages as it came with the DVD.
