I am considering upgrading from my Pentium B950 to an i5 or an i7.
I am using a Toshiba Satellite C670-18C laptop. I did confirm that the CPUs are compatible with the chipset (HM65) and with the motherboard (socket PGA988). The Pentium and the i5s and i7 that I am considering all have a TDP of 35W and I am running the latest BIOS version (2.30).
Here are the i5s that I am considering: i5-2520M, i5-2410M, i5-2430M, i5-2450M.
The i7 that I am considering is the i7-2640M.

I want to check if the manufacturer supports the upgrade.

If needed, these are the full specs of the laptop: Pentium B950 @ 2.10Ghz CPU, 2*4GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SSD, Geforce 315M GPU with 512MB of VRAM, Intel Oneonta Falls Motherboard, CPU package size (from Intel ARK and CPU-Z) 37.5mm*37.5mm(rPGA988B), socket PGA988 also know as socket G2, Windows 10, Windows 7(dual boot).
