Hi all.

I've had my laptop for just over a month, just upgraded it to Windows 10, and suddenly yesterday it decided it wasn't going to turn on without being plugged in. The battery icon shows up as normal and says it's 100% charged.

The battery seems to be screwed into place so I can't get into it to check the contacts. I've tried un- and re-installing the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery in the device manager as per the Toshiba support advice.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, I am very concerned, I am a 4th year degree student and cannot be without a laptop for any length of time.

Thanks guys.

Meg
