    Hi,
    I have a toshiba Satellite S70-B-10Z laptop.

I use the following external HDD enclosure.
    https://www.ms-tech.de/eng/index.php/product/detail/pdci...
The case uses AC to 12V DC adapter.
the external enclosure has not ground pin.

When I use it, I feel in the surface , static electricity, not a spark but something like friction.
The same feeling is on the metallic surface of my laptop, when the HDD case is plugged in through USB3 interface.

    Has the laptop ground pin?
Laptop's AC adapter is Model: PA5181E-1AC3 part no.:PA-1121-60
Checking the adapter, I think that it's not grounded...as the adapter pin that is plugged in laptop looks like bipolar...

    What's your suggestions?
Is there any danger for my laptop?

This is not danger for the notebook and the notebook usage.
Such symptoms can appear due to contact electricity.
As mentioned by other members, these happens due to the capacitive coupling in the power supply by insulated devices attached to the mains power.

You can solve this using an 3-pin ac adaptor.
