I want to upgrade the ram on my C660-2D7 from 4 to 8gb, does anyone know whether these modules will work in it as they're cheaper than the basic crucial ones? I'm aware they'll be clocked down to 1066mHz

    Thanks

According notebook specification your notebook can handle with 8GB Ram and 4GB are already inside. It must be one module with 4GB. Am I right about that?

So all you must do is to buy another compatible 4GB RAM and put it in second slot.
Compatible 4GB RAM for your machine is PA3677U-1M4G.

I recommend you to obtain Kingston modules. They are 100% compatible and you will not have any problems using them.

    Hi

    You need the PC3-8500 1066Mhz SO-DIMM 204pin module
I bought one from Kingston because they provide really good quality modules.
    Never had any compatibility problems
