    Hi

in his infinite wisdom my ex father in law installed xp onto my Toshiba Satellite P200 (PSPB6A-0CS04M).

None of the drivers work, the system is a piece of puss. I'm looking to find a recovery disc so I can go back to my original Vista install (with drivers) then possibly upgrade to win 8

    Can anyone help please?

    Cheers

    Jason

Satellite p200 is pretty old notebook model and I donít know if you will be able to order original recovery disc but you can try it anyway.
For recovery disc order check https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

By the way: I donít know if you will be able to have successful upgrade to Win8 but what I know is that this machine runs perfectly with Win7 32bit.

Maybe it sounds stupid now but I think you should be a bit realistic and donít expect too much from this old piece of hardware.

I own Satellite P200D and Iíve installed Win7 32bit and must say that notebook runs perfectly so my advice for you is: forget the Vista and install Win7 32bit.

All drivers, tools and utilities you can find on Toshiba download page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

If you need some assistance you are welcome.
