    my laptop Satellite C850-1j1 doesn't boot anymore.
    Happened after partition changes. shows a error screen telling me the computer needs to be repaired using recoverymedia,

    I've got a working hirens boot cd and usb (tested on other comp.) but the laptop is not responding
    op. system win 8 64 bit brandnew.

    suggestions are welcome

    Hi

    The message says that you have to install the system again using recovery media…
    As far as I know the notebook was preinstalled with the WIN 8 64BIT system.
    You can use the HDD recovery option…

    Power on the unit and press F12.
    Then choose HDD recovery option appearing in the boot menu.
    Follow the instruction on the screen…

    I just hope you have created recovery media.
    Start notebook and press F12 several times. When the boot menu is shown on the screen chose option to start recovery media (DVD or USB) and install recovery image.

    After doing this you will have factory settings again and everything will be OK.
