    Hi all.
    where is and how do you replace the cmos battery on a A60?
    Know its on the mother board, but where?
    How far do i have to go to replace it?

    The battery is most likely on the mainboard, which means you need to remove the Top Cover and possibly the Base. It can be a big job, so you may want to consider bringing the notebook to a Toshiba Repair center for dismantling.

    Akuma is right. CMOS battery is connected to mainboard and if you want to have access to it you must disassemble the whole notebook.
    If you donít have experience with it, donít do anything on your own. Small mistake can ends with hardware damaging or damaging small plastic cover parts.

    Hi buddy,

    I agree with the users above. Safest way would be if you ask your local authorized service provider because they have experience with notebook disassembling. If you are not familiar with disassembling procedure, ask the guys for help:
