I have done a bit of experimenting and I would like to share the following:

I successfully created a usable recovery image by carrying out the following.

    1. Purchase an 8Gb micro SD card, place it in a SD adapter. (or purchase an 8Gb SD card)
    2. Insert the SD card in the usual place.
    3. Run the Toshiba recovery media creator software.
    4. leave the default USB option selected under media set.
    5. Allow the process to complete.

To check if you have been successful:
Re-boot your nb305 with the SD card inserted, press F12 at the boot screen and choose the obvious USB boot option

You can safely abort the re-store at the appropriate place before any files are overwritten.

I have tried this twice, once with a Kingston & once with a Sandisk card, both with 100% success.

    Hope this helps

Thank you for the useful information. It will definitely going to help lots of users.

In the same phrase i would like to introduce rescuedeletedimages photo recovery software that once, helped me to retrieve deleted or lost data such as photos, videos and audio files from SD card.
