I spilled a drop of lemonade onto my cursor keys, and now the down and right arrow key-contacts are stuck. This causes some of the other keys to malfunction too. When I press 'em I hear a soft "beep", which indicates something like "busy, no more keystrokes possible". So I need to clean those contacts.

How can I safely remove the keyboard to clean it?

    Hi Vincento,

Rather than remove your keyboard I would suggest that you remove the keytops from the stuck keys (carefully, they are easy to break), and then spray a very small amount of electrical contact cleaner on them. You can then manipulate the key mechanism to try to free the stuck contacts. Once they are free replace the key-tops.

Do not power on your notebook until the contact cleaner has fully evaporated.
