    Hey,

Hav you already checked the vendor and device ID in device manager? Check this please and on this website http://www.pcidatabase.com/ you can enter these IDís and then you can see what device it is.

Furthermore the drivers can be downloaded from Toshiba directly:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers

If you have more questions, please let us know! :)

    Hi thanks for the reply.
I have been into the device manager but under properties the PCI Device is a system devices manufacturer unknown PCI bus 0, device 27, function 0.
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39).

    Thanks

    Hi

In device manager -> properties -> Details tab you will find the PCI\Ven number and DEV number.

I assume you didnít check the details tab. So do this!

This is what is listed under the details tab.

According to Google the unknown device you have is an ICH7-M - High Definition Audio Controller.
If your sound is already working then I suspect you're running compatible drivers.
Go to the Toshiba driver page, select your model and install the provided HD Audio driver.
