    Hello i like to reset my a60 back to its factory settings. I found my recovery cd but i lost the instruction booklet on how to use the dam thing! i did it before but for the life of me i can't remember anymore.

    can anyone help?

    unfortunately yes but everyone problem is they lost the recovery cd. i did the opposite and lost the instruction booklet. i didn't know where to turn

    Hi

    You have to put the recovery disk into the CD/DVD drive and have to boot from this recovery disk.
    Then the notebook will begin the recovery procedure.
    Usually you should get an standard mode and expert mode.

    The standard mode would format the whole HDD and will reinstall the OS again on the notebook.
    Using the expert mode you would have a chance to choose the partition or to change the partition size and then the partition will be formatted.
