Is there someone who can tell me why I got two recovery discs?

On disc one there is my Vista recovery with all drivers, after installation the system don't ask for the second disc. All works well.

I just want to know where the second disc is for. Itís a Satellite L350-144

Maybe the second disc has the Applications and Drivers? Or its another Operating System such as 64bit Vista?

What does it say on the Disc label?

I think on the other recovery disk there are some applications or an other OS (operating system).

Very simple: Insert the CD and look what is on it.

Tell me what do you see on the CD, Iím interested in it.

And what is written on this second CD/DVD? Some numbers? Anything?
What is listed on the media if you put it into optical disc drive?

On the label is just written: Product Recovery Disc 2. The files on the dvd are: 06486XR1.CRC 1 kb, 06486XSP.SWM 921 mb, 06486XSP2.SWM 918 mb, 06486XSP3.SWM 919 mb, 06486XSP4.SWM 845 mb and 06486XV1.CRC 1.5 mb. The disc don't boot.

    Hi

Possibly you received 2 CDís instead of 1 DVD.

It could be also possible that this disk was inserted accidentally in the box.

Iíve also read that some notebook models were delivered with an additional Toshiba Vista 64bit OS Recovery disk.
In such case youíve got 32bit Vista preinstalled and you could create an 32bit Vista Recovery disk and additionally you could install also an 64bit version.

    All three possibilities are possible
