    Hi

What OS are you using? Vista? What notebook model is it?
If yes please install the SP1 because it contains a Microsoft patch which helps to solve the webcam issue.
I had a similar issue and the SP1 was the key.

It would be also recommended to remove the old webcam software/driver and to download a webcam driver from the Toshiba European driver page and to reinstall it.

    Check it out!

Has your Satellite notebook built-in webcam or you use external one?

You can download the Camera Utility from Toshiba support Website first you need uninstall the camera from Programs and Features after can install the new application in case that this process not working Before of install a new Application Disable the UAC from MS config

    Hi guys

First of all please ensure that you are using the latest BIOS version.
    If not, update it.

Furthermore access the BIOS settings and set it back to the default pressing the F9 button.
Don’t forget to save the changes if you would leave the BIOS.

Additionally and webcam driver update would be advisable too…

    Hope I could help.

PS: Please report if this procedure has helped!!!
