    Dear all,

I opened the rear panel and have visual access to the Hard Disk. It is placed in some kind of rubber cradle / cage. Kindly advise on how to go about removing the Hard Disk and replace with new one.

The reason I need to do this is because I'm facing recurring bad sector problems and now XP won't boot. So I plan to install a new 160 GB HDD and use the Recovery Disk.

I'm also attaching the pic of the HDD in the laptop when the case has been opened.

Looking forward to your speedy response.

    Thanks in advance.

Move the HDD to the left and the HDD will be disconnecting. Place it to the flat surface like desk and remove both plastic covers moving them to the left or the right side.
    Thatís all!
