I've tried Paragon Partition manager (bootCD).
But, when I loaded from CD, Partition manager does not see hard drive of my Portege M400
Is there special drivers or software for doing this task?

Do you use the Vista or XP OS??

If you use Vista OS you can change the partition size n the “disk management”
Just simply shrink the existing partition and then create a new one on the free space or simply add the free space to another partition.

If you use the XP I would recommend using the tool called Partitions Magic 8.

It’s a wonder full tool which supports many useful functions!!!

    Hello

This software is not known to me but if this one is older version it can be problematic to use it on newer HDDs. I have noticed the same using old version of Partition Magic.

I can also recommend you version 8 and you can du everything under running OS. I have tested it under WXP and it works well.

Which OS is preinstalled on your Portege notebook?
