Yesterday, I upgraded my BIOS from 1.90 to 2.20 for VISTA...now I apparently downloaded the wrong a100 BIOS for my A100 ( PSAA ...)

Now the computer comes on ( no screen) then a few seconds later shuts off and comes back on again ( continuously) I am under warranty ( and the computer is in the shop) but I was wondering what to do if Toshiba doesnt honor the warranty ?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi

I’m sorry to say it but it seems you have no choice….
You have to ask the authorizes service partner in your country for an help… as far as I know the BIOS update mistakes are not covered by any warranty and you will have to pay a little tax for the fixing.

In worse case the motherboard must be replaced… :( but maybe you have a lucky escape and only the ROM chip must be flashed again…
