    I have just rebuilt my 6100 with xp professional, but now my wireless switch wont turn wireless on!!!!! Which means that I cant get wireless connection and I cant install the bluetooth drivers................does anyone have any ideas????????

    Hi

    Which switch do you mean? Do you mean the switch on the notebook side or the key combination FN F8?
    Usually after OS installation you have to install the WLan card driver and the FN keys to use the FN combination.
    Check the device manager if the Wlan card is installed properly.
    If you need Toshiba drivers so please visit the Toshiba driver page.

    Yeah the switch on the side. I have installed the drivers from the download page on this website and have installed the function key drivers too. However when I switch the side switch to on, nothing happens and when I click 'Fn' & 'F8' i get the message 'wireless communication is disabled. please turn on the wireless communication switch' I have gone into device manager and there appears to be no problem with the Wireless card it is showing the driver is installed and the device is working

    Hi

    As far as I know the WLan and the Bluetooth are optional on this notebook.
    The other possibility is that the Radio ON/OFF option in the WLan card properties is disabled. Please check it in the WLan card properties in the "Advanced" tab
