Thanks but in system settings I get lots of options, 1 being time/date but no sleep timer. Any other suggestions?

Are you on the HDMI source? If you change the source to TV or AV this might allow the timer option?

Ok, so if you press the home button, the bar should appear, if you can change to settings you should be able to go to right system above it timer should appear? I know this is what I previously said but this should be the only way to access.

Thanks to this thread I now know how to do this with my new TV, but its pretty stupid having the sleep button 10 clicks away on the remote....unless you hold it and overshoot. I called technical help on Fri to see if there was any way I could recode the remote to turn a button I won't use into the sleep timer. I was told no. I also backed my telephone call up with an email.

What I found out last night is you can move the system settings on screen, so I've now placed it next to Home which makes the sleep timer easier to access. Why couldn't technical help have told me this I wonder.
