I need to enable IIS for Windows 8.

When i go to Add Windows Components, I can select these options, but then it goes and searches forever

Windows 8 ships with a new version of IIS and this is an option feature.

To install it, press the Windows + R key combination to bring up a run box, then type appwiz.cpl and press enter.
This will open the Program and Features part of Control Panel, on the left hand side click on the “Turn Windows features on or off” link.
Now you should click on the Internet Information Services check box. (below the Internet Explorer 10 check box). After that click OK.

Additionally I could find a great MS tutorial how to install and configure/enable the Internet Information Services (IIS)

I have tried to add IIS under the Windows Additional Components section.

IIS is there, but when I select it, the computer searches for the components but never finds them.

Can anyone help ?
