Hello,
I have a Tecra 8100 with the internal yamaha ds-xg soundcard. Since a month the computer hangs when I want to do something with sound! My first thought was the driver, but even under linux it doesn't work anymore!
When I disable the driver there are no problems but no sound too!
So I'm afrain the hardware is broken, but maybe somebody knows if there's still anything to do about it? It also happened that it worked again, but after a restart not anymore?! Very fluctuating!

Hi

Did you try to update this driver?
If not, try to download the newest sound driver version from the Toshiba website.
Check this link:

Hi

Like Markus said you should check the newest sound drivers.
Try to download it from the download area and reinstall it.
