Hi guys hope you can help!

I've got a Satellite Pro A660-11M Windows 7 - 64 Bit

The Wireless Network adapter is not working..

I've tried reinstalling both the bios and wireless driver.

The Wireless button is switched to on yes the Fn+F8 button doesn't show the relevant wifi is enabled/disabled as per usual!
It is also not showing in Device Manager and Bios.
Is there anything i've missed? Or is it a faulty card?

Hi

First of all you will not find any WLan entries in BIOS.
But you should see the WLan card in device manager.
If right WLan driver was installed, the WLan card should appear in device manager -> Network Adapters.

If WLan driver has not been installed properly you would still see an entry under Network Adapters but it should appear as Ethernet controller or unknown device.
Can you such entry?

Furthermore the WLan driver was released on the Toshiba EU driver page.
The question is; did you choose the right Wlan driver.
As far as I know the notebook supports the BROADCOM 802.11(B/G/N) BCM94313 WLan card and therefore the Broadcom Wlan driver should be used.
