I went a little crazy when removing the preinstalled bloatware on my new laptop and accidentaly uninstalled the wifi driver. I have been looking around a bit and found this information under Problem Devices in System Information on Win7: VEN_8086&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_40628086.

I looked around and found out that it is the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230.
I have tried installing and running the intel driver for Win7(64) from your wifi driver page here:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads, but it didnt work.

Does anyone know what driver I should get or, if its another problem, what it is?

Have you tried to install Intel driver version 14.1.1.3.1?

I have the same problem on my Toshiba P850-132, i formatted the HDD and made a clean install of W7 and everything works but not the Wifi card Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 VEN_8086&DEV_0887.

I made a system recovery with the Toshiba windows discs and all works but the PC is slower with Toshibas version.

What driver for Wifi do i need to be able to run on a clean W7 installation ? Have you found it ?

Kind regards
Bob

The Intel WLan driver can be found on Intel page too:
