Hi

I have a Satellite C660D. Every time I switch on I have to manually connect to the wireless network. If I tick the box "Connect automatically when this network is in range" it selects but if I open the box a few minutes later it has deselected. I have updated drivers and turned off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
Would be grateful for any ideas.
Dave

Hey,

There are already some threads here in forum about WLAn connectivity on Satelite C660 and I would recommend checking these threads.

What you have to do is updating the WLAN driver and disable power saving feature in Windows power management.

Thanks for your reply

My problem was intermittent connectivity and after following advice on the forum I seem to have a solid connection. My problem is that when I tick the box to "Automatically connect to this network when in range" the tick box clears after a few minutes so every time I switch on or loose connection I have to connect manually.
