Hi to all!

i've a toshiba nb200-110 semi-bricked: I can power on it, i can surf through the bios, i can switch any setting but i can't boot!

In fact after the bios, i have black screen.
If i try to go to boot menu (f12) i've always black screen! What can i do? Bios version is 1.20.

I've created a crysis disk with last bios (2.10), it seems to flahs porperly but at the reboot i've always bios 1.20

sSorry for my bad english

P.S. I KNOW THAT THEY HAVE RESET THE BIOS WITH THE JUMPER (BECAUSE THEY FORGOT THE PASSWORD).
BEFORE THIS OPERATION, THE NETBOOK HAS WORKED WITHOUT PROBLEMS!

Hi

You are speaking about “they”…
Does these mean that the notebook was already send to the ASP?

Did you check if the video output was not set to external monitor?
Please check the FN +F5 key combination… this toggle between external and internal monitor.

If this does not help then I would recommend getting in contact with the ASP guy who has removed the BIOS password… I mean everything was ok before the BIOS password has been removed… maybe they have changed something in BIOS or the BIOS itself…

I wish you good luck

Maybe the OS or boot sector are corrupted on the HDD.

Can you boot from a USB Flash Drive? (Press F12 to display the boot menu)

Have you tried all the USB Ports on the NB200? Maybe one is not working.
