Hi

there can anyone help me please?
I have a L300 Satellite Pro and this will not connect to the Wifi after hibernation.

The only way to do this is to restart the pc.

Any suggestions?

Hi!

I’m using a Satellite L300 that should be similar to yours and I can’t notice this issue. The WiFi works perfectly without any issues.

Anyway, I would recommend updating the WLAN driver and BIOS. Both you can find on the Toshiba website:
http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com => Support & Downloads => Download Drivers

By the way, are you running the “factory settings” or have you installed another Windows version?

Bye

Hi

As suggested, update the WLan driver!
The WLan driver can be downloaded here too:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

Furthermore you should update the Vista to the latest state!

Last but not least you could change the settings in device manager -> Wlan properties -> Advanced tab.

If your router supports the 802.11 G standard then set the Wlan card only to this WLan standard too.
You should also disable some power saving settings there.

Hi

As Lars already suggested you should update the WLAN driver that you can find on the Toshiba website. Furthermore BIOS updating could also be useful in case.
Check this!!!

I assume you have Windows Vista and you should make sure that the WLAN power saving function is disabled. If you don’t know how, read this article:

Good luck!

Hi,

I have a similar problem on my Satellite L300 U29. After Hibernation my DVD player has disappeared. Reboot wil bring it back.
