Hello everybody,

I have installed Windows XP SP 2 on a Toshiba Satellite 300 that originally came with Vista. I have installed the drivers I found on the website including the BIOS update that made me screw up everything and forced me to restart everything from the beginning. I thence avoided installing the BIOS update the 2nd time and everything seems to work fine, except that I cannot connect to internet via wireless.

My suspicion is that I might have missed something. I therefore would like to know how you usually proceed in order to make a wireless connection work. If anyone could describe the procedure, it would be of great help.

Thanks in advance,
Mario

Have you updated the WLAN driver?
You can find it on the Toshiba website or on the WLAN driver portal:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

And can you see your router?
Maybe you should restart it and disable the security features.
