View Full Version : How to turn on Ricoh SD/xD/MMC in Satellite A300 @ Ubuntu Intrepid Linux?

Hi

I have a Laptop Toshiba Satellite A300 1M1 PSAGCE
and I installed Ubuntu Intrepid with kernel 2.6.27.11 (I did this not
because Linux is better, free and faster than Vista... I did this
because I work with computational simulation, and I need Linux in this
machine).

Unfortunately one resource is not working: Ricoh SD/xD device.
But it is identified by the Linux kernel and it has modules loaded to be controlled (I suppose).

What I must do to get working my xD/SD/MultiMedia Card? (I put a xD card, and there is no message in the log).

My log, hardware and modules are:
_# SDHCI log messagens:_

Hello

Have you tried to find answer on some Linux forum?
Toshiba doesn’t support Linux for this notebook model and I don't believe someone here can help.
If you will find some useful info please post it here.

Good luck!
