View Full Version : Satellite A105-4001: Wireless detected, but no networks show up.

I've owned this laptop now for going on three years, but recently it has had this problem: the wireless networks are detected, but when I click on the bubble that appears, it tells me there are no networks in range. I've refreshed, and on other forums on other websites I've read about drivers (uninstalling and reinstalling) but I'm afraid I'll uninstall the wrong one (I've lost the recovery disc that came with this laptop) and I'm so inept at this sort of thing. The end result is I'm without internet :(. I'm really at a loss on what to do on this kind of thing... can anyone help?

Ok, U must first to install the new driver from this page http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modSel.jsp.
Your model is A105-S4001
In this page u will select the model of notebook and search the driver of ur device

Then install the driver and maybe all problems will be fixed.
In case u cant fix it u cant find an Authorized Service Provide in http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_gaspLocator.jsp?subs=tais in all countries of the world.

You can call to Toshiba Support 1-800-457-7777 in USA and if u need the recovery media u can buy it.

Thanks. I'll give the downloading a try.

Also, I know about calling and buying a new disc... but last time I called Toshiba for the disc (this was almost two years ago), they told me they didn't have the disc anymore... eh. Thanks for your help!
