I recently reinstalled windows on my mum's laptop, as it was starting to slow to a crawl. Unfortunately, i didn't notice that there was no WLAN driver on the website before it was too late. Now i can't find out what chip the laptop uses, and therefore can't download the driver from elsewhere either.

Please can someone either:

Tell me what the wireless chipset in this laptop is, or

point me in the direction of where i can find this driver.

Cheers, Tom

It should be Atheros 11b/g (11ch) MB51.
Drivers you can find under http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

Good luck!

I had this problem.. Would it really be that hard for Toshiba to list the correct drivers for a specific product!!?? Thanks for the help on this though!

I presume you know exactly which WLAN card is inside of your notebook. so all you must do is to visit Toshiba WLAN portal and download right driver.
It cannot be so problematic for you.
