Satellite Pro 6100 USB problem after stand by

Hey all,

I've got a Satellite Pro 6100 and when I boot my computer up, my USB ports work fine. However, as soon as I come out of stand-by, i get about 6 pop-up messages saying "USB Device Not Recognized" and my USB ports don't work.

The device manager says they work fine, so i'm just confused.

Any help?

Hi Geoff,

Your issue is the same as mine (see my posting below): when coming out of standby, some devices don't work (like my PC-card wireless network adapter).

I really anyone here knows the answer.

I am not sure but I think that BIOS update can solve this issue. Did you already check if there is a new BIOS update for your unit?

I'm running the latest BIOS taken from the Toshiba website.
