Hello,

got the laptop with 1gb and bought another sodimm with another 1gb, both PC5300.
After installation, CPU-Z shows they both work, but at 533, and not 667, but at dual channel.

I read here, about another model, that the cpu/bios only support 667 up to 1.5gb, and 2gb at 533.
Is this true?
Why doesn't it say this anywhere (not that I saw)?
Any chance that a newer bios will solve this (i installed the latest 1, currently on site)?
If I replace the new 1gb with 512mb, will it still be in dual channel?

Cause this was a waste of money, and the only performance gain (according to vista performance test), is to the graphics, and not the memory, which stayed the same.
Thanks for your help,
Doron.
