Tecra 8100 Sound for MS-DOS Please help!!!

I'm trying to get Sound going under MS-DOS 6.22
It's a Yamaha YMF744 DS-XG Soundchip and the DOS Driver won't work! I can't find a better driver from Toshiba or Yamaha.
The DOS Utility sais that DMA Channel is not available.
Furthermore there is no .sys file and I don't know which lines to add to autoexec.bat and config.sys.
I only get FM Music going when loading "set blaster=a220 i:7 d:1 t:4" but sound doesn't work.

Can anyone please help me? Thanks alot!

Hi

As far as I know sound functionality depends on MS-DOS program that you use.

As far as I know you can use a normal dummy sound DOS driver. You won't have all functions of the soundcard, but it will work!
