Satellite Pro A100 (PSAAPE) Win XP Modem Driver

I have rebuilt an A100 (PSAAPE) recently with Windows XP (SP2) and after downloading all of the drivers from the Toshiba downloads site I have installed everything OK apart from the internal modem.

When I run the setup it appears to install OK but when I check device manager there is still a PCI device that needs installing and it's definitely the modem as there is no modems currently installed. Please can someone let me know how I can install the modem in this laptop as I have tried everything I can think off.

Hi

Did you install the drivers and tools in the right order?
You should do it! This is important!

On the Toshiba driver page you will find the “installation instruction”.
So follow this guide line and I’m sure everything will work!

I called Toshiba yesterday and that's exactly what they suggested, I was a bit sceptical about it but
after going through the list including a large number of hotfixes! I came to the audio drivers install
and after installing the software and rebooting, the system detected an audio modem and then installed
the modem drivers as well!!! so I was able to resolve the issue but it did take a while to install
everything!!
