My modem does not work and has not for over a year.(Windows XP Pro SP2)

When I query my internal modem I receive this error message:

Try to remove the modem from the device manger (uninstall the modem driver)
Then reboot the notebook. At the beginning the OS should report founded new hardware (modem)
Go across the installation procedure and install the modem again.

By the way; you could download the newest driver version (if available) from the Toshiba driver page
