I want to use UMTS on a Toshiba Stellite Pro 4600. I got a PCMCIA Card from Vodafone and installed with all updates.

But if I want to use UMTS and, that means start the application and connect to Vodafone, Windows shuts down with a Bluescreen:
DRIVER_IRQL_not_less_or_equal STOP 0x0...D1, 0x0...00, 0x0...02, 0x0...00, 0x0...00.

I think the IRQ allocation is not that good : http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/7151/toshibamw0.jpg

Hi

Did you check if this happens with every PCMCIA card?
I have noticed that the Vodafone card causes the BSOD on some notebooks with P4 CPU’s and enabled hyper threading technology.

But there could be also a problem with the Vodafone card firmware.
A firmware update could helps.

Try to contact the Vodafone support for the new firmware and further details…
