I had to put a new hard drive in my Equium A60 because the old one died. I reinstalled Windows XP etc and I have installed the drivers for the laptop from the Toshiba download section.

However my speakers are not found and drivers are not installed according to my laptop.

Can anyone help get my speakers working?

Hi there, I assume that you didn't use the product recovery DVD to re-install Windows??
As far as I can tell there's no such thing as speaker drivers they are connected directly to the Realtek sound processor.
If you have no sound I could only assume the drivers haven't been installed correctly. To check this run Device Manager (Start, Run, sysdm.cpl) then click on Hardware, Device Mananger. Scroll down to the "Sound, Video and games controllers" section and check for the presence of Realtek or maybe yellow markers.

Richard has right. Check the status of sound card and be sure that this device is installed properly.
