Intel/Pro Wireless hangs on Shutdown

hi everybody,
all time i shutdown my Toshiba Satellite A 100-151 the Intel/Pro Wireless software hangs and stopps the shutdown process of windows xp.
anybody else with this problem or maybe: how can i solve this?

If you disable WLAN connection using WLAN switch on the right side of your notebook does the notebook shut down properly?

thank you for your comment.
i have not tried this yet.
but disabeling the WLAN connection before shutdown should not be the "normal way" to switch off the computer?
in spite of i will try it this evening.
