hello,

I'm trying to install win98 SE on my old 730XCDT but during the plug and play peripherical detection, the system stop to respond.
If I reboot, the install of plug and play periphs restart and the system stop to respond again.
I've not found any solution.
Is there a solution?

Regards

Hi gga,

did you check your BIOS settings? Push power button, press ESC key immediately and then you are etering BIOS.

There is setting called Device Config. This should be setted to "Setup by OS".

Try it!

Hello gga,

yes, this is right! All "Enduser" OS from MS like W9x/ME wants this setting in the BIOS. The opposite is for NT/W2k.

So sett te "Device Config" to "Setup by OS" and it should working!

Bye Sammy
