Equim L10-300 - Do I need updates from Toshiba?

I have had my laptop about 6 months, I use Windows update and Norton which I also keep updated, do i need to download other updates from toshiba? Is it advisable to update my bios? I did look on the toshiba 'product updates' area and there was no link for this laptop.

Hi

First of all you should only update the BIOS if you have serious problems and if you know that the update will solve the issue.
Secondly the wrong BIOS or the procedure can damage the notebook!!!
Well, if you use the Windows automatically update and if you update the Anti virus applications so you are on the safe side.
