Satellite Pro 4360 - HDD Replacement

I have a SP4360 with v.nosey 12 GB HDD which I want to replace. In the technical spec for the 4360 this is listed as EIDE. I have looked on EBuyer and there are a couple of possible replacements:
Western Digital Scorpio 40 Gb EIDE 2.5 LP 5400 rpm 8mb Cache (WD400VE)
Scorpio 40 Gb EIDE 2.5 LP 5400 rpm 2mb Ns (WD400UE)
The WD400VE is listed as connector type ATA-100 but the WD400UE is listed as EIDE. Are these using the same connector and will either work in my SP4360?

If you want to be 100% sure call Toshiba service partner. I am not 100% sure but I believe that there should not be any problems. The only question is whether the notebook will can handle with whole HDD capacity.

As far as I know this unit was delivered with this HDD:
HDD 12GB 2.5IN IDE SLP part number: P000289340

I have searched in the web for a compatible HDD and I have found this website with supported HDD for a Satellite Pro 4360:
