Hi

Unfortunately there are no official documents about a max HDD size but I think that you can use a 20, 30 GB without any problems.
You can ask the service partner for a max supported HDD size or the HDD dealer.

Hi

This theme was discussed a lot of time in this forum. I have found this similar posting about HDD size on a Equium unit:

Hi

Unfortunately there is no precise information about that. The only official Toshiba information says that you can use 14 GB HDD with PA2674U part number.

The hardware upgrade is service partner stuff and they have precise information about that. If you want you can contact them or Google a little bit. There are many online offeror who provide HDD upgrade.

Hi,

Mine's a similar machine with a 40Gig drive bought off ebay for next to nothing. No problems in the year or so I've been using it.

Hi
Can you let me have any more specific information on the 40 gig drive you have used. We have a 400Mhz Tecra 8000 and I have just installed 2 * 128Mb PC133 RAM sticks instead of the old 64's. I would now like to replace the 10 gig HDD and have been looking at a few on eBay. I would like to know what to look for - 40 gig would be good.
